Release Notes - Experimental Version 2.1.2985

This version includes several new sensor types that can be used in your mediascapes. Some of these require particular pieces of hardware, click the title below to read more.
Main.BluetoothDevices is a script object that allows the mediascape to trigger actions when bluetooth devices come into range.
IRBeacons is a script object that allows the mediascape to trigger actions when a the device comes into range of a compatible beacons that use Infra-red technology.
RF Beacons?
RFBeacons is a script object that allows the mediascape to trigger actions when a the device comes into range of a compatible beacons that use active radio frequency (Active RF) technology.
Barcodes2d allow a device with a camera to read 2d barcodes, and use those to trigger actions in a mediascape.
Experimental.RfidTags allow a device with a compatible connected RFID tag reader to use the reading of a tag to trigger mediascape actions.
Bugfixes / New Features
- All executable files within the installation for Windows Mobile are now signed. On devices which have the appropriate security policy enabled, such as many phone-style devices, this prevents pop up messages from appearing when loading mscape for the first time. On devices without the security policy (e.g. rx5900-series) this has no effect.
- BUG: Cannot communicate with a Flash movie if it is not the first one loaded. Symptom: If you play flash movie A, then play flash movie B, the RunActionScript method and OnFsCommand events do not work on Flash movie B. This has been fixed.
- BUG: On mscape player, the debug view on the designer tools screen sometimes missed off the bottom of the output screen, making it difficult to see the last item on the list. This has been fixed
